Ivan Filipović, co-founder and chief designer of Gevera boats, graduated architecture at the University of Zagreb in 2011. He participated in various competitions and won many awards for his design solutions such as Square in Space – Zagreb skyscraper, Fashion Hotel and Bridge – New York skyscraper. Already during his student days, he displayed great interest in boat design, showing genuine talent in his master thesis project – Navigating Adriatic hotel. His personal life is replete with his love for the sea and water sports, which provides an endless source of inspiration in his work.

Dujo Marić is co-founder of Gevera boats. He graduated Entrepreneurship Economics in 2011 at the Vern, University of applied science. He was born and lives on island Hvar. Since young age he was surrounded by boats. His father was working as a skipper on different yachts for many years and gained a valuable experience which he transferred on his son. In 2012 Dujo started his own company for boat rental and transfers. He recognized different needs of boat lovers and came up with an idea of building his own boats. He is passionate about freediving and spearfishing.
